Job Overview:
Baker Hughes, a global leader in energy technology, is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and execution of Baker Hughes’ EHS programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, facilities, and other teams to provide EHS support and mentoring.
- Coordinate the closure of findings and observations from audits and inspections.
- Participate in accident investigations and conduct internal EHS inspections.
- Maintain EHS equipment, documentation, and regulatory records.
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking and submission of HSE metrics and reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Industrial Safety and Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree with NEBOSH certification.
- 3-5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
- Background in manufacturing, oil & gas, and exposure to ISO standards.
- Technical knowledge of EHS-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Tamil (local language).
- Ability to influence others, lead small teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
